A powerful explosion occurred this afternoon in France, in the fifth arrondissement of Paris. As a result, several buildings were engulfed in flames and several people were injured.
According to the information, the explosion was large and there was a second smaller explosion. It is learned that 16 people have been injured, while there is talk of others remaining under the rubble as a result of the collapse of a part of the building.
The situation remains unclear, but it is suspected to be a leak in the gas pipeline of a school, however the information remains to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, the police have asked citizens to avoid the area of Val de Grâce after the facade of a building that collapsed occupied the road and the flames spread to neighboring buildings.
