A new book by renowned historian Andrew Lownie could send shockwaves from Buckingham Palace in London to the White House in Washington, D.C.
The British royal family expert has published a biography with explosive content. In the book titled: "The Rise and Fall of the House of York", the author reveals shocking details about the acquaintance between US President Donald Trump and the disgraced Prince Andrew, brother of British King Charles III.
Donald Trump reportedly dated Prince Andrew, who was 14 years his junior, in the late 1990s.
According to the British tabloid Daily Mail, which published excerpts from Lownie's book, a close friendship quickly developed between the American businessman and the British prince. In 2000, Andrew even visited Trump's exclusive Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, where he even played a round of golf with the future president.

Both are convicted of sex crimes. While Ghislaine Maxwell is serving her sentence in a US prison, the investment banker committed suicide in custody. The circumstances of his death continue to stir debate and are part of numerous conspiracy theories, especially popular in Trump's MAGA circle. Trump himself used the Epstein case during the election campaign to attack Democrats, accusing them of hiding the results of investigations to protect other friends of Epstein, such as former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary.

Since then, the president has tried to deflect attention from the Epstein scandal. Trump is trying to regain control by reviving old feuds, highlighting his successes or downplaying new news about his involvement in the Epstein case. The new book from London is likely to further complicate that effort.
Particularly explosive are the revelations about Trump's alleged conversations with Prince Andrew. Lownie reports that Trump and Andrew met at a Halloween party hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum. "Andrew is not arrogant. He's a lot of fun to be with," Trump reportedly said of the scandal-plagued prince. Shortly afterward, the two reportedly met again at a party and discussed the American's plans to open a new golf resort in Scotland.
