Sir Keir Starmer is expected to step down as Prime Minister within a year of leading Britain.

According to a poll by "The Mail on Sunday", angry voters criticize his poor management of the economy, immigration and the cost of living crisis.

Almost a third of Britons polled expect the Labor leader to remain in office for another year, with more than two-thirds (68%) saying he is doing "badly", after just six months in the post of Prime Minister.

The media, which concerns both the Labor Party and the Tories, say that one in five voters think that Nigel Farage will be the next Prime Minister of Britain.

The shock poll comes as speculation over Sir Keir Starmer's future grows in Westminster after a poor start to his tenure as Prime Minister.

Since Labour's landslide victory in July last year, the party has faced a series of missteps, including clashes over changes to farmers' inheritance tax breaks, a tax attack on private school fees and gifts from donors and lobbyists.

Last night, a Labor MP said: "If this poll doesn't raise concerns, then we really are lost."

Deltapoll's exclusive poll reveals that 69% think the country is heading in the wrong direction, with the cost of living crisis topping the list of concerns.

Some 33% said they are particularly worried about the economy, while 14% said they are worried about the consequences of higher taxes for them and their families.
