Belarus' leader, Alexander Lukashenko, said Minsk is ready to host talks between his Russian and American counterparts, Putin, Trump and with Zelensky.
"We need to convince and negotiate with Zelensky as well, because he represents the majority of the Ukrainian population. Therefore, we need to negotiate. We will sit down at the negotiating table and reach an agreement quietly, without noise. I am looking forward to getting Trump here with Putin and Zelensky," Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian president believes that Trump is a more independent president than his predecessor Joe Biden.
"Even if it's wrong, he will make a decision. Biden didn't make the decision himself. He was told not to call and he didn't call. He was told to call Putin a dictator and he called him a dictator ," Lukashenko said.
He also suggested that during the Biden era, representatives of the military industry actively promoted their interests.
"And Biden, because of his character and because of his physical position, could not resist, as Trump resists. That's the whole point," Lukashenko concluded.
