The daughter of Putin critic Alexei Navalny has shared an emotional message for her father following his death last week.
Dasha Navalnya posted a photo of herself as a child with her mother and father, which she accompanied with a short message.
"I love you, kiss you, hug you tight, and I miss you a lot," says the caption of the 23-year-old's post.
Navalny died in a high-security Russian prison in the Arctic after allegedly being poisoned with Novichok, a nerve agent.
Meanwhile, yesterday US President Joe Biden met the wife and daughter of the dead Russian opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, Yulia Navalnaya, in California, the White House said.
In a message on X, Biden said: “Today, I met with Yulia and Dasha Navalnaya – relatives of Aleksey Navalny – to express my condolences for their painful loss. Aleksey's legacy of courage will live on in Yulia and the countless people across Russia fighting for democracy and human rights."
Biden has blamed Putin for Navalny's death.
