Paul Williams, former legal advisor to the Kosovo delegation in Rambouillet, has completed his testimony in defense of Hashim Thaçi at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
According to Williams, Thaçi had collected the signatures of the commanders of the area and that the Recak massacre was a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
"He had left Kosovo and I'm trying to choose my words carefully when describing him, he wasn't a villager, he wasn't from remote rural or mountainous areas, he had studied in Switzerland, he knew how to deal with the international community," he said.
Williams admitted that he did not know Adem Jashari and added that he had heard about Bujar Bukoshi's reluctance to fund the KLA.
He denied having any knowledge of the misuse of diaspora funds by Bukoshi's government.
