"Tick-Tock", Trump: Time is running out for Iran
Donald Trump

United States President Donald Trump has rejected media reports suggesting he is in a hurry to end the conflict with Iran.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he was under no time pressure, but warned that the situation was more urgent for Tehran. “ I have all the time in the world, but Iran doesn’t — the clock is ticking ,” he wrote.

He stressed that any agreement will only be reached if it is in the interest of the United States, its allies and, according to him, the rest of the world.

In another reaction, Trump questioned the stability of the Iranian leadership, claiming that the country is “having a very hard time figuring out who its leader is.” He spoke of strong internal clashes between “hardliners” and “moderates,” which he described as chaotic.

However, these claims have been rejected by Iranian authorities. President Masoud Pezeshkian and chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that no such division exists in Iran.

“There are no radicals or moderates. We are all Iranians and revolutionaries,” their joint statement said. They stressed the unity between the state and the people, as well as complete obedience to the supreme leader.

In the same statement, Iranian officials warned that any "aggressor" would face consequences for their actions.

The clash of statements reflects the growing tension between Washington and Tehran, while negotiations and developments on the ground remain uncertain.
