Lyn Buchanan, a former participant in American "remote viewing" programs, says that aliens operate secret facilities in Australia, Alaska, Zimbabwe and the Pyrenees. However, there is no public evidence to support these claims...
A former participant in secret US programs claims to have identified a network of alien bases hidden deep within mountains in various parts of the world. According to Lyn Buchanan, these facilities are used as information centers, maintenance points for UFOs and even as gateways to Earth. So far, however, there is not enough evidence to confirm their existence.
Buchanan, who participated in experiments known as "remote viewing" during the Cold War, made the claims on the popular podcast American Alchemy. He described alleged bases hidden in the mountains of Alaska, Australia, Zimbabwe and the Pyrenees, on the border between Spain and France.
According to him, these locations were first identified in 1973 by Pat Price, a former police officer and one of the pioneers of “remote viewing.” Buchanan claims that the US government then launched a program called Project 8200 to verify whether other observers could reach the same conclusions.
Underground UFO "airport" in Australia
According to Buchanan, the most interesting facility is located on Mount Zeil in Australia. He claims that there is a kind of underground alien airport with several levels, where aircraft enter and exit from the upper floors, while the deeper levels are used for maintenance and laboratory activities.
He says that during one of his sessions he also observed the inhabitants of the base, including a being he describes as a “gray alien.” Buchanan adds that these beings realized they were being observed and, according to him, communicated this fact to him.
According to his claims, the Australian base serves as an entry point for friendly visitors from other worlds, who are then dispersed to different parts of the planet.
Alaska Information Center
Another object described by Buchanan is located, according to him, inside Mount Hayes in Alaska. He claims that this base functioned as a large monitoring center that collected information on events on Earth.
According to him, in the past humans and aliens worked together there, while now the system operates fully automated and does not require the presence of personnel.
Repair center in Zimbabwe
Buchanan also claims that there is a specialized center for repairing alien vehicles on Mount Nyangani in Zimbabwe. When asked what was repaired there, he replied briefly: "UFOs."
He also suggested that the facility is exceptionally protected and linked several mysterious disappearances in the area to the possibility that people who reveal too much information may never return.
Regarding the fourth base, which is supposedly located in the Pyrenees, Buchanan admitted that he has not explored it personally and cannot provide concrete details.
Skepticism and lack of evidence
Buchanan's claims are closely linked to the notorious STARGATE program, in which US intelligence agencies studied the possibility of using psychic abilities for espionage purposes. The program was shut down in 1995 after being deemed scientifically unreliable and of no practical value.
This remains the main criticism of his claims. To date, there is no public evidence to confirm the existence of the bases described. However, Buchanan insists that some "remote observers" have produced similar sketches of these objects without prior knowledge of the targets they were looking for.
In the absence of verifiable evidence, it remains unclear whether these claims represent real information or are part of more controversial theories about the possible alien presence on Earth.
