The decision would add a new chapter to Trump's declared war on the American university world, which is considered aligned with the "liberal" side. The US administration is also determined to cancel all remaining federal government contracts with Harvard University, worth about $100 million.
This is what emerges from a letter sent by the White House to US federal agencies and leaked by the NYT, in which the government instructs the agencies themselves to "find alternative suppliers" for future services.
