Kamala Harris held her next campaign rally in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She took the stage to Beyoncé's "Freedom" - the soundtrack to her campaign - and loud cheers from the crowd.
She tried to calm the raucous audience, saying, “Okay, we've got some work to do. Will we do this North Carolina.
"I think we owe it to the voters to have another debate," said the 59-year-old, writes skynews.
Harris reacted in this way after Republican Donald Trump ruled out the possibility of a new presidential debate.
The Democrat told supporters she will be "president for all Americans" — a phrase she has repeated throughout her campaign.
Otherwise, the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll currently shows Harris with a 5 percent lead among registered voters.
Among voters who said they had heard at least something about Tuesday's debate, 53 percent said Harris won while 24 percent said Trump prevailed.
About 52 percent of those who watched the debate said the Republican stumbled and didn't appear sharp, while 21 percent said the same about Harris.
Otherwise, the US presidential elections are expected to be held on November 5.
