Trump: Mojtaba Khamenei may be alive, but in very serious condition

United States President Donald Trump stated that there is no confirmation whether Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's supreme leader, is still alive.

" We don't know ," Trump replied in an interview with the New York Post. " We believe that he is very likely alive, but in extremely serious condition ," he added.

Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public since February 28, when the US and Israel launched attacks on Iran.

" Nobody has any news about him ," Trump added.

The interview came just hours after an Iranian attack on an Israeli refinery, the latest blow to energy infrastructure in the conflict that has now entered its second month.
