US President Donald Trump will hold a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the White House on September 25.
Trump emphasizes on the Truth Social platform that a number of important issues will be discussed during the meeting, including trade and military agreements, as well as the issue of F-35 aircraft, for which he expresses optimism for a positive outcome of the talks.
He further writes that he has always had very good relations with President Erdogan.
"I am pleased to welcome President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey to the White House on September 25th. We are working with the President on many trade and military deals, including large-scale purchases of Boeing aircraft, a significant F-16 deal, and continuing the F-35 talks, which we expect to conclude with a positive outcome. President Erdogan and I have always had a very good relationship. I look forward to meeting him on the 25th of this month!" Trump wrote in his post.
