The Directorate of Police in Montenegro has issued an official announcement regarding the incident yesterday evening in a night club in Budva, where Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic was also present.
According to the police, the head of the Montenegrin government was evacuated to a safe place when the fight started, while he emphasized that Abazovic has nothing to do with the incident. The police announce that the people involved in the conflict have been neutralized with a non-harmful spray, writes Vijesti.
" He left this building safe and sound, in the presence of police officers who were engaged in his personal security, for reasons not related to the incident where public order and peace were violated by some people in it the same building, when the local security intervened. For this reason, there was a violation of public order and peace by some people, for which the police officers also undertook activities in their jurisdiction, issued a warning to these people and then an order, which they ignored and the police officers used a spray with an irritating effect on three people", the police announcement states.
They add that these persons were brought to the official facilities of the Security Department of Budva, reports were collected from them for the minutes and the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotorr was notified of the incident.
" Those who, after reviewing the case files, have declared that the actions of these persons do not contain elements of the criminal offense for which prosecution is undertaken according to official duty, they will be charged with misdemeanors for misdemeanors under the Law on Order and Peace", it is stated in police notification.
