The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that America's explanation for the deadly attack on the concert hall in Russia, which said that Ukraine was not involved, should not be believed by the people.
She then ironically added that Washington still has not proven who killed President John F. Kennedy in 1963 and has no way of drawing conclusions about the attack in Russia.
" If only they could solve the assassination of their president Kennedy so quickly. But no, for more than 60 years they have not been able to find out who killed him. Or maybe ISIS? Or will they delay another 60 years with specifics, played with some "constructive uncertainty" , said Zakharova.
Zakharova, via a post on Telegram, also referred to what she called the financing of the terrorist activities of the Kiev organized crime group by American liberal Democrats.
An Islamic State branch has claimed responsibility for the attack in Crocus Municipality, northwest of Moscow, in which at least 137 people were killed.
Vladimir Putin, however, has not publicly named the Islamic group in connection with the attackers, who he said were trying to escape to Ukraine. He also claimed that some of the "Ukrainian parties" were preparing to smuggle them across the border.
