Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibikha said his country is ready for further peace talks with Russia, but he did not give a specific date for their holding.
Sibikha once again emphasized Kiev's call for a meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, assessing that this would be one of the most effective steps towards achieving a ceasefire.
"We are ready for such negotiations in any format and in any geographical location," he said during an official visit to Lublin, Poland.
Meanwhile, earlier today, the Kremlin announced that the issue of arms supplies to Ukraine from the West is one of the main topics on its agenda.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that arms shipments to Ukraine constitute a "business" and that some European countries will pay for them.
He also added that a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump is not planned, but such communication could be quickly organized if necessary.
Also next Wednesday, a meeting of Patriot system-owning countries and arms donors to Ukraine is expected to be held, aimed at providing Patriot anti-aircraft missiles to Kiev. The meeting will be chaired by NATO's top military commander, according to a Reuters source close to the talks.
