Earthquake in the Municipality of Milan. The Public Prosecutor's Office has requested the arrest of real estate magnate Manfredi Catella and councilor Giancarlo Tancredi. For both, the Prosecutor's Office has requested the security measure "house arrest".

According to Italian media, this is a new investigation into corruption and forgery. Large construction and urban transformation projects in Milan are also said to be at the center of the investigation. Stefano Boeri, whose name is well-known in Albania, is also under investigation, while he is considered one of the friends of Prime Minister Edi Rama, since the time when the latter was mayor of Tirana. A total of 20 people are being investigated along with Boeri, without requesting security measures against them, while the Milan Prosecutor's Office continues the search.

Italian media write that in recent years, Manfredi Catella has reshaped the appearance of Milan and, along with four other people, has been summoned for questioning by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office.

Preliminary questioning is scheduled for July 23.

Investigating Judge Mattia Fiorentini will have to decide on the six requests for house arrest after preliminary questioning.

Investigators have so far been unable to hand over the document to one of the suspects. Investigators handed over the document to Catella as he was about to leave on a planned trip. Searches have been carried out at his property. The Guardia di Finanza is executing a warrant for files relating to construction projects.

The investigation involving Tancredi, Catella and Andrea Bezzicherine Bluestone follows the one that led to the house arrest last March of Giovanni Oggioni, architect and former vice-president of the Landscape Commission of Palazzo Marino. Also four months ago, a one-year suspension from the profession and public office was imposed on Marco Cerri, architect and former member of the Landscape Commission.
