Chaos at the White House. A girl collapsed in the Oval Office while Donald Trump was addressing the press during the swearing-in ceremony of former heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz, who rushed to help the child.
A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital that the girl was a member of Oz's family and after first aid had made it through the difficult moment.
The Senate confirmed Oz's selection on April 3, and he is now tasked with managing nearly $1.5 trillion in federal health care spending.
In addition to running Medicare and Medicaid, Oz will also oversee the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), while also being responsible for making decisions about how the government covers procedures, hospital stays, and medications.
During the ceremony, Oz prioritized his role in advancing the Make America Healthy Again movement, led by Kennedy, and implementing reforms to Medicare and Medicaid.
