As the talks continue, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a statement emphasizing the Iranian delegation's role in protecting national interests.
He announced that the high-ranking delegation, which has arrived in Pakistan, will be fully engaged in the negotiation process. According to him, the Iranian representatives will conduct the talks "with courage" and with a clear focus on the country's interests.
In his statement, Pezeshkian also underlined that the government's work will not stop regardless of developments in the negotiations. He stressed that serving citizens remains a priority and that the government will stand by the people in all circumstances.
"The high-ranking Iranian delegation that has arrived in Pakistan is, with all its might, the defender of Iran's interests and, in this regard, will negotiate boldly.
"However, our service to the people will not stop for a moment and, whatever the outcome of the negotiations, the government stands firmly with the people," Pezeshkian said.
The statement reflects Tehran's official stance, clearly separating diplomatic engagement from the internal functioning of the government.
