In Nuseirat, al-Awda hospital reported 30 killed in overnight shelling, including 14 women and 12 children. Another attack near an aid post killed 14 people and wounded over 100. In the coastal area of al-Mawasi, where Israel claims a 10-hour ceasefire to allow aid distribution, four people were killed inside a tent overnight.
In Khan Younis, hospitals confirmed nine deaths, while in Gaza City, two people were killed by a rocket on an apartment. Another strike later killed five members of a family. Rescue teams are struggling to reach the wounded under the rubble.
In Scotland, US President Donald Trump, during his visit to open a golf course, said he was working to “fix the situation” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. After a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump declared: “The children in Gaza look very hungry,” signaling concern about the humanitarian situation.
Israel has not yet commented on the figures published by local Gaza authorities.
