Donald Trump has vowed to release documents related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
He said that within a few days of taking office, everything will be revealed. Trump said that he will keep his pre-election promise to "restore transparency and accountability to government."
This promise was one of the main points of his rally. People at Donald Trump's rally were outraged when Trump announced that the documents on the assassination of John F. Kennedy would be made public within the first days of his administration.
"As a first step toward restoring transparency and accountability to government, we will also declassify government documents," Trump said at his pre-inauguration rally on Sunday.
"In the coming days we will release the remaining data regarding the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other topics of great public interest ," he continued.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump's incoming Secretary of Health and Human Services, called for him to commit to making these documents public – especially those related to his uncle and father.
