Meanwhile, there was no shortage of messages against the regime of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, but also against Milorad Dodik, the president of the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
One of the banners read "Dodik is not Republika Srpska, Vučić is not Serbia."
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are taking all measures and actions within their jurisdiction to prevent further escalation of these incidents, maintain public order and peace, protect citizens and maintain security, the authorities said in a statement.
The police issue a final warning to immediately stop all attacks and provocations against police officers, otherwise, the statement emphasizes, the police will have to intervene and protect their officers in accordance with the law.
