Vulin challenges the EU: We do not need integration, if recognition of Kosovo
Alexander Vulin

The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandër Vulin, stated that Serbia is on the path of integration into the European Union, but that he has not decided on its speed.

"If the recognition of Kosovo, the obligation to facilitate same-sex marriages or participation in the conflict with Russia and China await us on the road, we should not even go down that road," said Vulin in an interview for Večernje Novosti.

He emphasized that "until they tell us this, it is up to us to stick to our military neutrality, the reforms that suit us and try to strengthen Serbia in the future".

Asked if Serbia, with the purchase of French Rafal aircraft, has made the biggest turn towards the West so far, Vulini said that this was a pragmatic and not a political decision, and that Serbia will defend its skies with Rafal and MiG "-a.

He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin, during their last meeting in Russia, did not mention the "Rafales", "but mentioned the trade exchange, the gas agreement and Russia's support for any Serbian war", according to Danas, Klankosova.tv reports.

Vulin, who is on the US sanctions list, visited Russia last month.
