The notorious Russian mercenary group Wagner, which carried out the rebellion on June 23-24, has stopped the entire recruitment process.
This group announced through the Telegram channel that "we are temporarily not participating in the special military operation and are moving to Belarus."
Wagner used the phrase Russia uses to refer to the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
The Wagner group staged a brief mutiny and the mercenaries headed for Moscow. But then Belarusian authoritarian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenko brokered a deal and the rebellion ended. According to this agreement, Wagner's boss, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was allowed to go to Belarus.
Wagner's fighters are given the choice of following Prigozhin or integrating into the regular Russian army.
Prigozhin has not been seen in public since the end of the rebellion.
