Volodymyr Zelensky said there is no agreement with Donald Trump on territorial exchanges between Ukraine and Russia as part of a peace deal.
US-brokered negotiations have failed to reach a consensus on control of the eastern Donbas region, as officials say the territory remains the "most problematic issue".
Zelensky told Bloomberg News that further discussion is required on who will own the Donetsk and Luhansk provinces, along with a number of "sensitive" elements of the plan.
"There are visions for the US, Russia and Ukraine, and we do not have a unified view on Donbass," Zelensky said, adding that Kiev is pushing for a separate agreement on security guarantees from Western allies.
"There is a question that I, and all Ukrainians, want to get an answer to: if Russia starts the war again, what will our partners do," he said.
The comments come as Donald Trump expressed "disappointment" at the way Kiev handled the deal, after claiming the Ukrainian president had not read his latest peace plan.
Zelensky has landed in London and will visit Sir Keir Starmer in Downing Street today, along with key European allies, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, to discuss the negotiations.

Kufiri i ri Rusi- Ukrahinë është kufirin i jashtëm i Rusisë, Rusia nuk i lejohet të kruhet me vëndet e NATO-s,dhe NATO nuk ka punë më me Rusinë. Garanti për këtë marrëveshje do jetë SHBA. Zelenski nuk do marrëveshje dhe lëshim teritoresh dhe është në të drejtën e tij, të kërkojë mbështetje nga vëndet e NATO-s për vazhdimin e luftës dhe çlirimin e teritoreve të pushtuara. Nëse Anglia, Franca, Gjermania,Izraeli etj e ndihmojnë duke u përfshirë vetë në luftë ,Zelenski le të pres rezultatin .Por pa llogaritur SHBA. Nuk janë sot të gatshëm , skifterët le të forcohen, të armatosen , të përplasen dhe ta fitojnë luftën me Rusinë.
