Edi Rama has entered the antechamber of the American penalty
The majority has started a 'blind' game with SPAK, opening rumors that it will create a special commission in the Assembly to control it. The voices, which are rightly being used politically by the DP of Lulzim Basha, not simply to protect the special prosecution, but also to show that this force stands alongside the internationals.
And Lulzim Basha has spoken about the Romanian scenario, when the party allied to Edi Rama in Bucharest, which had the majority, the Social Democratic Party dismissed the head of the anti-corruption prosecution Laura Covesi, and then the head of the majority was declared 'Non-Grata' by the USA.
While the Romanian Social Democratic Party is no longer in power since that time.
As Ramiz Alia feared the fate of Ceausescu, Edi Rama also fears the successor of the Romanian dictator. But in reality there is no possibility that it will block SPAK.
The USA and the EU have created the Special Prosecutor's Office in such a way that the head is not elected or dismissed by the Parliament or the majority, but by the Supreme Prosecutor's Council, where even though the majority has its own people, it is proven that it cannot influence in decisions. As happened in the case of Altin Duman, who was not loved by Edi Rama, but by the Americans.
But why is there all this noise?
No matter how many commissions the Parliament sets up to summon SPAK, prosecutors do not report on investigations, but on general statistics. Today, like never before, a prosecutor can start an investigation on his own, without ordering it by administrative act of the official.
However, it seems clear that the embarrassment of Edi Rama has increased, when in the meeting with the journalists, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani announced that the procedures for the investigation of the Mcgonigal case have started. So in all likelihood, he will experience the Albanian part of that story, for which the former head of the FBI of New York, accepted the summary trial, that is, the guilt and being punished.
And if the Albanian part of the investigation starts, the main person who will be questioned is Edi Rama. The man who met and discussed with Charles McGonigal, and the man of the Federal Bureau of Investigation was penalized for these meetings.
And precisely, the departure of Edi Rama to the doors of SPAK, which is logical in this case, marks a bombshell development in Albania. If he is not a defendant, which is unlikely, since neither Sali Berisha nor Ilir Beqja are yet, Rama can normally be a person under investigation through the doors of SPAK.
And from the standard that Rama himself has set, he should resign both as SP chairman and as prime minister.
That's why I'm starting this political crusade against SPAK, to put as much pressure as possible. But Rama's power has more weight when it comes to people under him, and not to wills greater than him, as is the case of Americans.
Therefore, yesterday from Skopje, he did not delay in taking out the photo with the Undersecretary of State of the USA, do you say that he has received his innocence? A prime minister with an undersecretary of state - this is the first sign of abandonment that the US has given to Edi Rama, who has a drought of several years of high-level meetings in Washington. Which is nothing but the antechamber of punishment./ Pamphlet
