Someone should inform Berisha that he has lost Shkodra. For years, keeping it as a false bastion of his, Berisha identified with Shkodra through a handful of "strong" people, who in fact never allowed free elections in Shkodra, filling the boxes for PD and making pro gestures Berisha whenever he needed riots. It did so regularly in 1997, 1998, 2000 and thereafter.
Now the story has changed. Shkodra has voted box by box for a candidate who is changing its history.
I don't know why Berisha gave the pledge two days ago, that today in Shkodër there would be a "big protest", after a criminal massacre where an innocent citizen lost her life and another is in danger.
The other two victims are thought to be part of the settlement of accounts between two well-known gangs in Shkodër, Bajrave and Lici.
Now the question is posed against whom the protest will be made?
Against the police?
What will they ask the police, "don't touch Mustafa Licin"? As it is said to have been seen at the scene, but no one has the courage to share this work, is it him or not. The police sometimes find the killers from the identity card, but this time the whole world can't even find it from the photo?
Against the Mayor?
What will they ask the mayor to "release Sali Berisha" as they ask the Tirana Municipality twice a week? Such a slogan was also in Shkodër today. So Berisha has been waiting for a tragedy to happen in Shkodër to raise the people to their feet for his release. In fact, no one moved them from the place.
Against the government?
What message will it send to the government? Don't cross the "Buna Bridge", as Bashkim Fino gave an ultimatum in 1997? The government is sitting cross-legged in Shkodër because it has won power and is bringing millions of euros of investment there, turning Shkodër for the first time in these 30 years into a tourist center of the North of Albania, as it deserves.
