It is known that Edi Rama is the most corrupt autocrat not only in the Balkans but probably in the whole world. In order to maintain his power, he has maintained the profile of a puthadori who has taken it upon himself to close all the "filth" of the civilized world and solve all the projects that have social-political costs in Western countries. He was the first to accept chemical weapons, took the mujahedin en masse, brought the Afghans even without ensuring that they would be accepted in the USA, offers Meloni the sovereignty of Albanian lands for African prisoners, allows Erdogan to declare jihad against Israel on Albanian soil , etc., etc. He is a plasticine that is processed and serves you all you need in power. The recent arrogance towards the USA and the story of Noc Rroku, which in Albanian has an extremely negative connotation, has to do with several explanations.
First, Edi Rama is the first international leader who has managed to corrupt a senior American official and used him to carry out illegal affairs against the Albanian opposition to destroy him. He has had the strength to use foreign diplomats in order to protect his regime, diplomats who, in order to further their careers, have destroyed and compromised America's role in the most pro-American country in the world. On the day when he was to be punished for his corruption, the American Secretary of State came to Tirana to give him support and praise him for his "leadership".
In this American administration, he had a "carte blanche" provided by the tycoon A. Soros, who is the biggest contributor to the Democrats in the USA. His close connection with Soros and their future projects in the Balkans, starting with Open Balkan and ending with monstrous financial projects to turn the Balkans into an area of overlapping interests of the great powers, are affecting not only the western future of Albania but also the undoing of Albanian democracy. His formidable economic power is showing that he easily buys political influence in Western countries, but on the other hand he criticizes the West for not preserving the values of their societies.
Secondly, his arrogance is based on his belief that he can use influence in any American administration and the protection he has today from Alex Soros can be replaced by buying political influence by giving Albanian lands (Port of Durrës, Sazan, beaches in Himare, Gjadri and Shengjin for Meloni). The purchase of this influence is also evidenced in the report of the Raskin Committee of the American Congress "The White House for Sale", where the Rama government is listed as "one of the 20 most corrupt governments in the world that seeks to buy influence in the White House."
This policy of the autocrat Rama not only demoralizes the fight of the Albanian people and the opposition for democracy, change of the governing elites and strengthening of the rule of law, but also extinguishes the inspiration that comes from Washington and Brussels. The actions of Rama and the Western bureaucrats bought and used by him have lowered the favorability of Washington and Brussels to a significant degree.
Thirdly, after Rama has used the SPAK to attack the opposition leaders by arresting them on dubious, baseless and in some cases illegal cases, he wants to keep the SPAK connected and in the function of his regime . He did reform the judiciary in 2014 together with Soros, but he fears that certain elements may use it against him if it affects their interests. Therefore he controls SPAK by pressuring you to extend their mandates, making it an instrument of his unlimited power.
By showing the Americans Noc Rroku about the justice system, Rama gives the message that he will keep this reform until he thinks that the goal has been achieved. Rama's arrogance shows the strengthening of a regime that has grown under the nose of the West even at the cost of the destruction of Albanian democracy. He is not afraid today to openly show his staggering corruption by spending millions of dollars even in the heart of New York. The naivety of Westerners today can only be answered with one expression: Keep your autocrat healthy and "enjoy" Ed's Noc Rrok. As for the Albanian people, they will fight for the restoration of democracy, a fight that you must not lose before it is too late.
