Accustomed to this Iranian-style tactic, Berisha reactivated the proxies when he was expelled by Lulzim Basha from the DP, after being declared non grata by the United States government.

It is no coincidence that a group of people close to the Democratic Party are coordinating remotely, loudly proposing Adriana Kalana as the opposition candidate for mayor of Tirana.

It seems clear that the group that was active in the 2 years of the pulpit after being declared non grata is seeking its real political reward from Sali Berisha.

They have every reason to do this, as they have been very active all this time, but they have not gained anything in the political and organizational framework of the Democratic Party.

The maximum number of national council members, which is five to none, or the position of Kala that replaced Jemin Gjanë, also has no weight.

This group has proposed Adriana Kalana as a candidate for mayor, sending a strong message to the doctor, who of course does not even have the nerve to see this as a real possibility.

At a time when the Trump administration is doing everything it can to mitigate what is possible from non grata, placing the person who called for an attack on the US Embassy in Tirana as a candidate for Tirana would be political suicide.

The decision to run for MP on May 11, although irrelevant, has in all likelihood cost Berisha. After the State Department has placed in its file those fabricated statements to attack the Embassy. In all likelihood, Kalaja cannot cross the ocean, not today, but for the rest of her life.

However, it is not the only group outside the DP that is causing collateral damage to the doctor at this time. In the space around him, other groups that have declared themselves radicals, "conservatives" and "anti-Sorosists" are lurking, who more easily penetrate the public, using the easy means of communication in the age of social networks.

There are all kinds of people in these groups: "professors" inspired by MAGA across the ocean and seeking to implement it here, angry with the Soros Foundation in Tirana, mythomaniacs and conspiracists of all colors. Where within are also the cute and entertaining characters like the professor who showed how Serbia-Janissier can, to the former monarchist MP who knows the origin of every politician in 7 generations.

Some of these groups have been at war with each other for a long time, to the point where their online war has become epic, as they make videos and posts, throwing arsenals of alleged agents and financiers, increasing the dose of hilarity.

However, in all this atmosphere, the fact is that this activity is quite viral and has a wide audience on social networks. The question is, whether this viewing comes because the many viewers do it for fun, to pass the time, or are they really on the same wavelength as the characters they follow and sympathize with. If it is the latter, this is a problem for the doctor, because the hole in the curve of the "gray electorate", that is, those who have abandoned him, increases.

Sali Berisha, in his political history, has used the theory of "proxy" a lot in his war. Ghost parties, where they only had leaders or just a few officials, who had close relations with the doctor. Even though in reality they did not bring votes.

These proxies, as Frederich Merz said about Israel some time ago, did the "dirty work" for the doctor in various matters of a military-diversionist nature. They were a kind of Huthi, used to fight in special cases and battles, when you would have to target a "seasoned" opponent.

Accustomed to this Iranian-style tactic, Berisha reactivated the proxies when he was expelled by Lulzim Basha from the DP, after being declared non grata by the United States government.

With the announcement of the platform, namely the battle to take over the DP, Berisha and his financial-media entourage created, financed and supported several "radical" groups that operated on several fronts.

One aggressive and offensive front against the US and Ambassador Yuri Kim, the other the group of pro-Trump anti-Sorosists, and other groups linked to Middle Eastern circles and countries or Turkey.

The logic stood, as there was a need to create a fixed "radical civil society" like Soros does in the US with the support of radical left groups or other billionaires who support extremists from white supremacists to Qunanon, etc. On the other hand, to find regional contacts to break the international isolation.

But now that the DP has taken power, almost all of these proxies are nothing more than his pawns, and sooner or later he must get rid of them or remove as many as possible. This is also due to the fact that all of these groups, although they may be "interesting" on social networks, have no voice in the public. After all, they constantly attack each other, insult or attack anyone.

They have become masters at this, but politics on the ground is something else. But can the doctor get rid of his own cronies so easily? These days they have started to turn on him too….
