Impossible!

Shkruar nga Ben Andoni

Impossible!

In short, the Albanian man finds himself here faced with the impossible and the lack of faith to overcome it!

If it weren't for the eve of our national football team's match against Serbia, then the issue of the recount of hundreds of ballot boxes in Tirana would get all the attention. Or rather, the media would pay attention to it. No matter what people think, the public is very cautious about the elections that still leave a lot to be desired in terms of standards but more so the stagnation they create. In every way, the recount of 1282 ballot boxes in Tirana, and 44 ballot boxes in Dibra clearly shows the lack of trust, even within politics itself and above all… the concept of the impossible.

And for three decades it has been: Impossible to hold uncontested elections, impossible to respect the winner, impossible to accept defeat with dignity, impossible to trust even your own election counting people, impossible to respect even your opposing colleague (within the party), impossible to do Mea Culpa, impossible to see your own defects, impossible to stand up for a clear analysis and much more, impossible even not to overdo it in power, impossible not to use resources...

Therefore, a big minus in these elections belongs especially to the majority, which even in this situation where the opposition is (its lists were doomed to defeat) tried to take everything and with every possible means. Added to this is the incompetence of the justice systems and the lack of moral authority to strike.

In short, the Albanian man finds himself here before the impossible and the lack of faith to overcome it. He sees this impossible in the face of the opposition's powerlessness to reformat and inspire faith. He sees this impossible in the face of a government like Rama's that no longer knows any barriers. The concept of Renaissance, the main slogan of the arrival of the socialists, has now gradually turned into Powerocracy.

“Politics is a constant and slow boredom of strong stakes. It requires both passion and perspective. Of course, all historical experience confirms the truth – that man would not have achieved the possible if he had not managed time and again to overcome the impossible himself. But to do this a man must be a leader and, not only one, but also a hero, in a very sober sense of the word. And even those who are not heroes can withstand the destruction of all hopes, and this is necessary right now, when otherwise people will not be able to achieve even what is at all possible today.”

It is good for people to wake up to the impossible, which is appearing before their eyes, but above all to the future, which is becoming more impossible day by day for a large portion of the population, compared to the possible that is offered to only a few people.
