Where is Vaso Pasha, that great Renaissance man, and where are you, little Sali?
You hate Albania, which you say you will make “great.” You want an Albania that resembles you, and you are not great at all, on the contrary, you are a very small person.
You want an Albania that obeys you, that serves you and your family, a formally "republican" sultanate, even though you have stolen and burned this country, killed its citizens, divided and divided it so that you can rule it.
Finally, when it seems that some good winds are blowing in Europe for Albania and they no longer see us as they did when you, Sali, were president of this country and you were wowing the Europeans with what they saw and heard in 1997, you are trying today to tell those Europeans not to make room for us in their family, to leave us out, so that we can continue to have you on our backs and deal with you.
You do this because Albania's entry into Europe would not be your merit. And anything you don't do and don't want to do, shouldn't be done.
You don't love Europe because you are not like it, you have nothing European in your being, in your mind, and in your political behavior.
Having known you well, Europe does not want a political being like you either, because a political being of your type does not fit the type of society that Europe is and the type of politics it practices.
When I heard what you said in Brussels to those few tired heads (and those few ears that hardly listen) about your country, if you really consider Albania your country, you disgusted me even more than before, you seemed to me a very, very small person, a whiner who is afraid and shy away from the truth, who denies it.
In fact, he seemed to me to be one of the worst Serbs, who only slanders Albania and Albanians, that Albania, which Naimi sang so beautifully about, that Albania, which Vaso Pasha, in 1879, presented to Europe with such pride and dignity with his famous work "The Truth About Albania and the Albanians".
Where is Vaso Pasha, that great Renaissance man, and where are you, little Sali? About a century and a half ago, Vaso Pasha told the Europeans "la vérité sur l'Albanie et les Albanais", the unknown, or denied, truths about European Albania and the Albanians, at a time when Albania was in danger of being erased from the map of Europe even as a geographical expression.
Today, you try to deny and throw mud on the truths about Albania and the Albanians who want to join the political map of Europe, after previously becoming an independent state and nation and surviving as such. Only a renegade of his country and people does this.
Unfortunately, you are still free and have the money to travel to Europe and perform in some 98.7 percent empty halls. Fortunately, however, you have become untrustworthy to everyone, a common fraud, if not a ridiculous man, who not only does not do what he should, but who does not even know what he is doing. / DITA
