Without a doubt, anyone who has protected Jews, hidden them from the Nazi, criminal, insane, inhuman, vile fury, is a person who deserves to be called such. Without a doubt, those Albanians and Albanians who have done this are also such.
Meanwhile, it is time for us to behave with dignity today and tomorrow with this event of our history that honors us.
First, it should be known that the Jews were not persecuted, massacred, burned only in one country, not even in two, but had such problems more widely throughout Europe. But, but, but, even in Europe there were millions and hundreds of millions who rose up against these barbaric acts, there were hundreds of thousands of people, men and women who hid and protected them. Let us not remember and make empty propaganda as if only Albanians have shown this human spirit and no one else in Europe.
So, let's not insult the European peoples by raising anthems for ourselves. Second, even if dozens of Albanians helped a minority of Jews in our country, this cannot be passed over in silence, but we should not beat our chests. We should not be proud, self-praise, because it is shameful to say to another all the time, every year, without rest: And look how I protected you?!
If someone did something good for me, or even for my friends, and said: "Oh, do you remember what good I did for you?" - I would have been wrong. Let me tell someone this if I had ever done them a favor.
I tell him myself every time, endlessly, thank you! Endlessly! Not that anyone mentions it to me!

It comes from the social and historical circumstances of the time. Otherwise, take the founding texts of sociology and burn them in the pyre. Otherwise, teach history.
a. In Albania there was no social conflict that pitted parts of Albanian society against Jews as there had been in Europe for ten centuries.
b. Jews in Albania did not compete for power, and they did not have any kind of financial or economic domination.
c. In our country, the vile and filthy Nazi ideology was not born within Albanian society, it had no roots in the people, but came as the ideology of the occupier. The Nazi occupier held us captive by force of violence, not through ideology and propaganda.
Fourth, let us not be deceived into building a divine image of ourselves. We are just as good, brilliant, but also with vices as all other peoples. Let us leave these stories with our peaceful, hospitable nature, because they do not work. We tore each other apart in a fratricidal war when it was about power, property, rule, and we would not spare the Jews if they had been confused with us, as we are with each other.
Fifth, let us not forget that during the Second World War, the anti-Jewish nationalist ideology was widespread in the media that were controlled by various groups in power in our country. Therefore, there was a paradox: anti-Jewish in geopolitics and tolerant towards Jews, as few as there were, in Albania. Time will clarify this.
Sixth, as for stigmas, Jews have not escaped us, like other ethnicities. “Get out, Cham, Greek, Yevg, Jew, Chechen, etc!” we have heard it endlessly. Seventh, didn’t the Italians, Greeks, etc. accept us as immigrants in difficult times? Just look at how the urban population welcomed the “Chechens” who came from the South and North. It’s shameful!
However, we should be more delicate, more truthful, and better look at ourselves in the mirror, because if we were not allies with Nazi-fascism, collaborators with it, humble towards it, there were none among our power and property elites during that time. What made them fall into the paradox: With the criminals in the geopolitical plan, with the victims, with a small part of them, in Albania.
That even those who were burned in Treblinka, Dachau, Pristina, Auschwitz, were Jews.
