We must not be discouraged, we must vote! We must impose open lists and representation. Otherwise, the mayors will never fulfill this need!
As I noticed, the best people, both on the Socialist and Democratic lists, are on the open lists. So we have an opportunity to cast our vote only on the individual, bypassing the party vote.
Imagine for a moment a party that receives X votes as a party also secures 2X of the votes indirectly from votes given directly to candidates or people they value most.
The messages would be strong and clear:
1) First, when the majority of votes is won by the qualities of their colleagues on the open list, the deputies on the closed list would simply be parasites or "legalized thieves" of representation, benefiting from the seat in the assembly by collecting votes (×+2×).... Clearly, they would be there as employees of the president delegitimized by representation.
2) the mayors would receive a severe slap, although it would be sold to the public as their achievement.
3) even though not everyone we would vote for would be MPs, we need to give the people whose support we value a clear message that we need to continue their representative effort.
Except for the militants, the gray electorate MUST vote. Everyone can find people on the party lists that they value a little more than others. Just put a check mark on the individual you value most on the open list. Don't vote for parties that openly send the message: "We want to be represented by individuals we value, not by the people who decide to hire the chairmen in the assembly."
We must not be discouraged, we must vote! We must impose open lists and representation. Otherwise, the mayors will never fulfill this need!
I have chosen who I will vote for. My vote will go to a woman on the open lists of Tirana .......
