All those who have led in the primaries within the DP and to whom Berisha is offering the open list are almost withdrawing. The winner of the Tirana District primaries withdrew. Igli Cara in Durrës announced his withdrawal, but in the end Berisha got scared and was forced to put him on the closed list. Tabaku and Alimehmeti in Tirana will probably be making a decision to stay in the race for the seat, but if the DP gets one more seat than the closed list, Ilir Meta will get it.
Dashamir Sula in Elbasan has also withdrawn. It is not known what Bardh Spahia will do in Shkodra, but as the winner of the primaries, he is clearly being persecuted by avoiding the closed list.
But beyond the clan war and Berisha's accounts to create a secure list of loyalists, the refusal to enter the open list shows the deep distrust of the main fighters of the DP for Berisha's victory.
This is the reason they refuse to be on the open list.

And they are the worst Cassandras for Berisha on May 11. The fact that the party's winners don't trust him shows a lot about how little they trust those who don't even get the DP votes. Apart from those he has appointed as deputies, he simply needs them as bodyguards after the defeat on May 11. They are the army that will guard the dead DP for him on May 12, so that he can take it with him.
