The opposition today is diverse. There are many groups, forces, and parties that clearly oppose Sali Berisha. They are clearly pro-SPAK, namely the anti-corruption operation, but also clearly pro-Atlantists. So they are against the political positions of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta since 2016.
Who, precisely because of the reform in justice, rushed to the West and fought a political and legal battle with the USA and the EU.
It is clear that Lulzim Basha, Alibeaj, Dash Shehi, Agron Shehaj, Endri Shabani, Adriatik Lapaj are not in the same position as Berisha.
Agron Shehaj's clash with the doctor's colonels in the Assembly was clearly seen as having the purpose of not letting him take the lead.
But this is all form, it is political theater to create a political perception in the eyes of the voters.
But there is a catch here. Which is content and not form. This opposition has not really split with Berishism. The attempt that was made in 2021 by a group within the DP of Lulzim Basha that today are not part of it, was buried, apparently with a spin operation to stop the process.
It is precisely the banning of that process that has led to this level of public perception towards the opposition, where even paranoid populists like Lapaj can get votes, even though he has neither a narrative nor a team.
The essential problem is what this opposition will do with Berishism as an important political legacy since 1990. For which Berishism and not for the doctor in person separately, what is not said. But there is no political act from all the opposition parties to maintain a written and political position.
Berishism is not only what the USA says "Major Corruption", "Undermining Democracy" and "Obstruction of Justice". Berishism is a political concept that has done nothing but hinder the dialectical processes of progress of meritocracy within the right, preservation of traditional conservatism, or liberal ideas.
Berishism is simply a way of running the DP, which apparently has not produced a leadership elite with weight in the public. But only people snoring at televisions. There are of course rational people within Berisha's DP and even close to him, but none of them are relevant.
Even one of these young people is Dr. Alimehmeti, who polls always give with high popularity among the opposition public. But why does Balliu Junior go on television instead of him? Because this is the Berishism, which after having driven the PD and the right to fury is also serving as the general director of the dinner panels. According to the probability, Rama is worth so much that he does not take people from his party but leaves the space as if to say: Do you see how much democracy there is here? The entire opposition has filled the screens!
