In fact, Monika herself affirmed this in the courtroom and even expressed her desire to exchange cells with Meta, but he refused under the motto "prison for men".
Now the only one who continues to call him a political prisoner is Berisha, who has a contradiction, since on the one hand he announced a manly alliance with Metta against Monika, on the other hand he calls the accusations political.
Two days ago, he accused Monika Kryemadhi of giving Edi Rama 460,000 euros for incinerator work. What was evident in that post was the fact that he was joining Meta's accusations against Monica, calling her a traitor to the opposition.
This became clearer today when Monika clarified that "Berisha will have been confused", implying his alliance with Meta and his people.

It's just that Berisha made the wrong choice. If he wants to continue to call Ilir Meta a political prisoner, he should not accuse Monika of being a traitor, as this exonerates SPAK. Either we will accept that SPAK invented accusations and put Meta in political prison, or we will accept what Meta says, that Monika made a hole for Meta by breaking the law in his name.
Now Berisha has to choose either Monika, who is "faithful" and SPAK is okay with the charges, or Ilir Meta, a political prisoner, but there is no reason to hold a grudge against his wife for the divorce with Meta. So either accept him as a political convict, or as a political divorcee.
