Somewhere around 2014, at a table with a former Berisha government official, my friend, now in a freelance profession and uninvolved in politics, and even today completely outside of it, expressed his agreement with our group's writings that the Great One has decided to slowly crumble the party by keeping it as a pawn of family interests.
In a word, the DP had run out of steam. My friends and I actually went even further, saying that its historical mission, the transition from a communist regime to a democratic regime, was complete. No longer having a pillar and beacon of an idea like anti-communism, Sali Berisha used it as a shield for his family. After 2013 and the sale of the Party to Soros's man in exchange for the security of Zen and the family party, it was clear even to those who had really believed in the reform project of the Berisha 2 government (2005-2013) that Luli was a traitor, weak and destined to become a murderer. It had all been a big, blatant lie!
It was a thesis that very few people thought about at the time, and even fewer wrote about it publicly. Among the few who wrote it, who could be counted on the fingers of one hand, were me and my friends. Our argument then and even more so now is simple. Every party has an ideological journey. When it ends and when the ideas run out, it turns into a voting instrument that is more like a criminal trust than a group of free minds united on a set of ideals.
Today, this is a reality that only those who think in vain that they will become directors and steal again and those whose blood the Family has bought with money and mail, do not want to believe. The ordinary militants, those who eat grosh and have supported the DP as an ideological project, are confused and do not know what to believe. Many of them follow the habit even though they have been introduced and used dozens of times.

The Chestnut and Zen Security Trust is now a structured criminal group, but after these elections it is also directly dependent on the International Crime Syndicate, which has the Duce of Surrel as its chairman. Duce Surrel controls the sources of profit and the Trust is dependent on him for not only political survival.
That's why Sali Berisha sold out the Democrats again, took the seal as a protective badge and as a symbol of the opposition, just because he wanted to give it to Duce Surreli.
So, once again, the problem in Albania today is the Jacobin dictatorship of Edvin Duçe Surrel. In order to overthrow him from the throne occupied by gangs and vote buying, the path must be cleared of the alleged opposition handraku. The Chestnut and Zen Security Trust is the Duce's first shield. Without it and the control he has over the garbage that lives around an 80-year-old in trouble, the Duce would not have been so calm and much less arrogant. We all know that when he is in danger, he becomes a chicken and wet and starts yelling at his phones.
So, dear deluded democrat militants. They have lied to you again, they have tricked you again, they are selling you soap for cheese.
If Trusti is not removed from the game, no one can stand against Duce Surrel and his patronage camps. If you really do not want his yoke, let go of Trusti and create space for a real and principled opposition on nationalist grounds.
Otherwise, you are like the hunter who never tired of hunting the bear, only ending up with a bad attitude.
Let them go, they want you as slaves and consider you as filth. Albania to the Albanians, bullets to the greyhounds!
