Only Sali Berisha is complaining that his votes were stolen.
Agron Shehaj, when asked if his votes were stolen, gave a logical and truthful answer. He said that the campaign was uneven, but no one stole any votes from his party. Meanwhile, we have not heard from other small parties – such as the “Albania Becomes” Initiative or the Together Movement – any complaints about vote theft. No, no, Tom's party, because it is a matter of manhood…
Only Sali Berisha is complaining that his votes were stolen.
The paradox is that throughout the campaign, he was not only a guarantor of votes, but also a threat: anyone who touched a vote would receive the "deserved response."
But how is it possible that these hypothetical "electoral criminals" left untouched about 180 thousand votes of small parties - who have neither commissioners, nor counters, nor structure - and stole precisely Sali Berisha, who has it all: commissioners, counters, money, rhetoric of force?
The answer is clear to anyone who knows the electoral process. What Agron Shehaj says is correct. The campaign for small parties is uneven, because the big ones control the electoral infrastructure. The government also has a slight advantage due to the vote of the public administration – which for the most part votes for the government, except when the wind of change blows.
But the counting process has not had any serious problems for years. Camera recording of voting and counting has eliminated the risk of vote theft.
On the other hand: how is it possible that the young voters of the new parties – without political history – were not “sold” and it was precisely Berisha’s Democrats who were “sold”, those who are ready to “die for him”? The new parties have received nearly 180 thousand votes, and none of them complains about theft. While Berisha’s Democrats, who are considered the bravest and most principled, have manipulated us?
These ridiculous justifications of Berisha are also refuted by the votes within the DP list itself. How is it possible that the "democratic people" vote for names that Berisha does not like? The Tirana list is a clear example. In Berisha's own open list, every democrat has chosen people that everyone knows that he does not like. And these, according to him, were commanded by Rama?
With Berisha's logic, the "criminals" choose not to touch the votes of Endri Shabani, Agron Shehaj or Arlind Qori, but focus on manipulating the votes of Flamur Noka, Edi Paloka and Albana Vokshi?
According to him, the voters of Shehaj, Qori or Lapaj – even if they are voting for them for the first time – are not sold out. But are those who have voted for Berisha for 34 years, vote sellers?
And worse yet, even within the DP list, the "criminals" are focused on voting against Berisha, not for his candidacies.
This absurdity only happens in a party where people have said goodbye to logic and blindly repeat every thought that comes out of a blocked mind like Sali Berisha's.
His misfortune and the country's good fortune is that he no longer has a monopoly on the opposition. There is no longer just one version of what happened in the election. He is simply an opposition party – the oldest, most degraded and most hopeless of them all.
