So in the case of beatings, everyone who was aware of and allowed the event should be made an example, not those who participated. But the interest of the other political party is not that at all. Berisha's interest in this case is that the victim is done with him, while the aggressor is disappointed by the government.
The bandit act of the Rhahja tribe against the Maja tribe in Fushë Krujë is clearly a case of the absence of the state. It is also a joke in the name of power. When you see how many people have been arrested by a tribe with the last name Beat for beating, you realize that they feel confident in what they have done. They even published the video of the beating themselves, to show that they do not feel threatened by the law.
Their motive is clear. The victim has "harassed" them in their quarry business, which seems to be beyond the bounds of the law. The police did not act and even spied on the aggressors, the victim. And this justifies all the measures that the State Police is taking against the Kurbin Police Station in this case.
But to understand that there is a political brand for bandits, listen to Sali Berisha's statement. The only one who tried to divert the beating track was Sali Berisha. He said that the beating was not for the quarry, but that the victims are supporters of "Foltor".
The statement, which looks like those aberrations of Sali Berisha's summer, actually shows the essence of why the "strong" survive in our political system.
At the moment when the state hits them, they naturally leave the government, but they don't stay on the streets. The other side, which today calls them thugs, will call them allies in the next elections. And so they are recycled.
We have dozens of examples in these 30 years, when such "strong" tribes have visited all parties, from DP to SP, including the small ones in between, like real estate agents.
Just a few months ago, a murder took place in Lezhë, for reasons of blood feud, where 5 Englishmen and an Albanian were mobilized to kill the Albanian enemy.
Sali Berisha came out first and said that the murder is not for blood feud, but for the fact that this "strong man" used to be with the SP and now he was with the opposition. In fact, he was killed for blood feud, but for Berisha, the political context was more important, as it was before the elections and he needed the votes of the victim's tribe.
It is the same reaction typology as in the case of Beating.
What Berisha wants from this ugly event is for the victims to position themselves with him. Other motives do not matter.
So in the case of beatings, everyone who was aware of and allowed the event should be made an example, not those who participated. But the interest of the other political party is not that at all. Berisha's interest in this case is that the victim is done with him, while the aggressor is disappointed by the government.
The same thing in the case of Lezha. Even though it is now an unsolved murder for blood feud motives, Berisha's interest was that his tribe would receive a signal before the elections that they should be with Foltore, that Edi Rama had killed them.
Feeding a kind of political market, like a market for football players for these thugs, they survive for a long time in Albanian politics, changing big parties, then small ones, and finally forming their own political factions.
This is the reason that today the resignation of Rrahman Rrahje, the deputy who is the only one from the tribe who did not participate in the beating, looks like a resignation from the shame of the tribe, that he was not there either.
Until there will always be someone who will not call crime a crime, a bandit will not be called a bandit but a militant, murderers will not be called murderers but businessmen, murders will not be called murders, but " assassination" as in guerilla films, then there will always be a political market open to them.
And if you want to understand what is the effect of the strong hand of the State Police today against this tribe, wait two years later when the elections come to see who will support them, and who will keep a distance from them from the big parties or small ones. Only then can we be sure that we have cut their roots.
