A 48-year-old man was put in handcuffs in Berat, while his brother and a relative of theirs were put under investigation in a free state.
During the checks that the police carried out in their apartment, they discovered 1 pistol firearm, 2 shotguns, 1 sporting gun, as well as combs and cartridges for these weapons.
From the two-month investigations, carried out under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of Berat, it turned out that these 3 citizens were also implicated in the criminal activity of selling narcotics in the city of Dimal.
As a result, Kleant Shehu, 48 years old, was arrested, as well as citizens E. Sh., 42 years old and R. (M.) were processed at large. Sh., 46 years old.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Berat General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Possessing without permission and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Production and sale of narcotics" and " Unauthorized production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons".
