An assassination attempt with tritol was recorded in the early hours of the morning in Mirdita.
According to preliminary data, the explosive substance was placed in the vehicle owned by the citizen Ledovik Syziu , which was parked in the yard of the apartment in the village of Malaj.
Syziu went in the morning to start the car and immediately it exploded, injuring him.
Police forces went to the scene, surrounded the area and are working to find the perpetrators of this attack.
It is learned that the 47-year-old is out of danger for his life, while according to the police, Ledovik Syziu was known as a problem in his village, for which the police are investigating if there was any recent conflict between him and any residents of the area.
Around 8:05 a.m., the Mirdita Police Station Operations Room was notified that in the village of Malaj, in the yard of the residence of citizen LS, at the moment this citizen started the vehicle, an explosion occurred in the back of the vehicle. as a result, the LS citizen was injured and is receiving medical assistance at the Mirdita Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life.
Police services and the investigative team immediately went to the scene.
From the first actions, it is suspected that handicraft items exploded.
