A serious incident happened this afternoon in Ksamil, where a 14-year-old girl had an accident after falling from a 'jet-ski'. It is learned that the 14-year-old was together with her 20-year-old brother and they fell from the 'jet-ski'.
The minor was transported by helicopter from Saranda Hospital to the Trauma Hospital. The 14-year-old girl suffered fractures, contusion wounds.
The girl originally from Durrës, but living in Italy, was first sent urgently to Saranda Hospital from Ksamil. But due to his serious condition and for a more specialized treatment, he was taken by helicopter to Tirana.
Meanwhile, the police have started investigations at the scene.
"Today, in Ksamil, the citizen G. Gj., 20 years old, while sailing on a Jet Ski boat together with his 14-year-old sister, allegedly lost control over the direction of the boat and as a result fell into the sea , the minor citizen was injured.
The 14-year-old will be sent for specialized medical help in Tirana and her life is out of danger.
The vessel was escorted to the port of Saranda for further verification by the Border Police. The investigative group continues its work for the complete clarification of the case", announced the police.
