A serious accident occurred this evening in Manëz, Durrës. According to sources, a pedestrian was hit by an Opel Corsa vehicle.
The circumstances of the accident remain unclear, while the traffic police have arrived at the scene to conduct investigative actions. The driver of the vehicle has been escorted by the police and is being questioned to clarify the dynamics of the incident.
" On the Manzë-Kthesa e Ariut road segment, a vehicle driven by citizen M. H, hit pedestrian citizen S. A, about 65 years old, who lost his life at the scene. Police services have arrested citizen MH in flagrante delicto.
"The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident ," he said.
