According to the first information, the incident happened when the motorcycle driven by the 29-year-old left the road, overturned on the road and then collided head-on with a passing vehicle.
The vehicle was driven by a 27-year-old woman, who was not injured.
The heavy collision caused the fatal injury of the motorcycle driver, who was transported by EKAV ambulance to Thira General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The traffic police is investigating the circumstances in which the accident occurred.
