12 people have been arrested while 4 others have been declared wanted after being accused of cultivating the narcotic substance cannabis in different villages of Kruja.
The Court of First Instance of Tirana has imposed the security measures "Arrest in prison" for 16 citizens, while it has ordered the control of the apartment for 3 citizens.
Citizens with the initials: EA, 57 years old, AA, 26 years old, IV, 52 years old, YC, 48 years old, E. Sh., 26 years old, FZ, 41 years old, ID, 43 years old, RD, 39 years old, have fallen into handcuffs. , LA, 53 years old, DK, 25 years old, IH, 52 years old, and FM, 52 years old, residents of Kamez and Krujë.
"Sector for Narcotics Investigation in DVP Tirana, in cooperation with Krujë Police Station, Police Station No. 5, and the Tirana Public Security Unit, following the work on the attack and full legal documentation of criminal activities in the field of narcotics and bringing to the fore the legal responsibility of citizens implicated in these activities, within the framework of criminal proceedings no. 308/2022 , have executed the security measure "Arrest in prison" given by the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for the citizens:
- EA, 57 years old, AA, 26 years old, IV, 52 years old, YC, 48 years old, E. Sh., 26 years old, FZ, 41 years old, ID, 43 years old, RD, 39 years old, LA, 53 years old, DK , 25 years old, IH, 52 years old, and FM, 52 years old, residents of Kamez and Krujë.
Work is also underway to locate and arrest 4 other citizens who are being pursued with search measures.
From the investigative actions carried out, the criminal activity of these citizens, who in cooperation with each other, in the years 2021 and 2022, cultivated narcotic plants in different villages in the highlands of Kruja, has been documented with legal evidence.
The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further investigative actions", the Police announcement states.
