Cybercrime in the Tirana Police Directorate has arrested at least 40 people and is investigating 50 others at large.
These arrests were made as part of the operation launched on Wednesday evening against gambling.
During the controls, some of the arrested were also caught with small amounts of narcotics.
The operation has spread throughout the country, while dozens of people have been arrested in the districts.
