The Police Supervision Agency has suspended four Kavaja Police employees from duty, following the completion of a several-month investigation into the criminal offense of "Abuse of Office".
According to AMP, during the performance of their duties, these employees did not carry out the necessary checks to prevent the cultivation of narcotic plants, allowing 550 narcotic plants to be cultivated in their coverage area.

Deputy Commissioner EK, with the duty of Specialist for the Investigation of Major Crimes at the Kavajë Police Station.
Inspector R. Ç., with the duty of Deputy Community Policing Specialist at the Kavajë Police Station at the time of the commission of the criminal offense and currently with the duty of Urban and Interurban Traffic Service Troop at the Kavajë Traffic Section.
