Other details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred today at a bar in Manëz, where two young men, Flori Paluçi, 33, and Aranit Kurti, 23, lost their lives.
Paluçi, who was wounded by gunfire, shot twice at 21-year-old Daniel Pepa, but the bullets did not hit him and he managed to quickly leave the scene, helped by other people.
According to investigative sources, after reviewing security cameras by the police, the dynamics of the incident, which began after a fight over a cup of coffee, have been revealed.
Initially, one of the people involved, Daniel Pepa, accompanied by the victim Aranit Kurti, asked the 17-year-old waiter for a coffee, who told him that the espresso machine had been turned off and that he could no longer serve him. A verbal altercation occurred between them, involving other people who had gone outside the premises of the bar, where a physical altercation initially occurred.
It was Aranit Kurti who first punched Flori Paluçi. The latter pulled out his gun and shot Aranit Kurti, killing him. Then Daniel Pepa intervened and shot Flori Paluçi, killing him.
Security cameras also showed two more shots fired by Flori Paluçi towards Pepa, which did not hit him.
The police also suspect that other people involved may have committed the criminal offense of "failing to report a crime", as the authorities were not notified of the conflict in the first moments. There are also suspicions that there are people who helped 21-year-old Pepa leave the scene and are keeping him hidden.
Referring to data from the investigative group, Flori Paluçi first shot Aranit Kurti, who lost his life, and then suspect Daniel Pepa intervened and fired a gun, taking revenge for the murder of his friend.
The three young men involved in the conflict had previous acquaintances, and all three often frequented the bar where the incident occurred.
