The 39-year-old arrested today for illegal possession of a weapon is not an unknown name to the police.
It is learned that Ismet Gaxherri was injured in the Linza incident in 2015. Gaxherri turns out to have been the owner of the bar where Enton Nikaj was killed. We recall that Ervis Martinaj, the king of gambling, was wanted for the incident in question, while today he is missing without a trace.
According to the Prosecutor's Office at the time, Ismet Gaxherri, who was accompanying the victim Enton Nikaj, intervened in the fight that took the latter's life. The aggressors immediately hit Gaxherri with the butt of a pistol, causing him to fall to the ground, bleeding, BW reports.
Then, the violent actions continued on citizen Enton Nikaj, who was shot in the neck. Within a few moments, the aggressors, after getting into the car, shot Nikaj, causing his death. Contrary to what was claimed that the cause of the incident was a debt of 200 thousand euros, which Gaxheri had to Ervis Martinaj, the injured man denied this fact at the time.
