A father and son were arrested by Tirana police at midnight.
As part of Operation "Midnight", citizens RZ, 37 years old, were arrested for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed Weapons Possession" and "Production and Sale of Narcotics" and BZ, 65 years old, (father of citizen RZ), for the criminal offense of "Actions that hinder the discovery of the truth", both residents of Tirana.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 4, during routine checks, stopped the vehicle driven by citizen RZ, in which they found and seized a quantity of narcotics suspected of being cocaine.
Following the actions during the search of this citizen's apartment, the Police services found and seized 1 firearm, a pistol, combat ammunition and a suspected quantity of cocaine, divided into doses, ready for sale, with a total weight of approximately 36 grams.
While the 37-year-old's father, citizen BZ, as soon as he saw the police services, he attempted to throw the narcotics into the sink and throw the firearm from the balcony.
