The police of Fier seized firearms, shotguns and a significant amount of military ammunition, while their owner was put in handcuffs.

"The police caught red-handed and handcuffed the possessor of weapons and ammunition. As a result of the immediate administration of information by the police intelligence, provided within the operational plan "Rule of Law", the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Fier Police Station in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", of the DVP Fier , have finalized the coded police operation "Rails", as a result of which another case of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition was hit.
During the operation, citizen EI, 31 years old, resident of Fier, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs. From the controls, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 shotgun, 2 cartridge combs and 530 ammunition were found on the 31-year-old man, which were seized as material evidence, together with the arrested person's cell phone. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the police announcement states.
